Established identity
Xeno is the youngest brother, the overprotected prince and heir kept at home.
Proposed campaign arc
His exceptional supervised appearance at Whitebridge ends in an ambush. Returned to the palace, he begins checking the ration books and relief accounts behind the speeches he has been asked to deliver.
He sends evidence outside the palace before asking Pyrrhus for help. His escape is planned with him, and he has a useful role in carrying it out. On the road, he learns that generosity without accounting can simply move suffering somewhere else.
Political question
Why should a village’s survival depend on whether its king happens to be good? His arc moves from wanting to be a good ruler toward wanting institutions that can restrain a bad one.
Visual direction
Proposed age: 19. Wavy black hair, ivory and gold court clothing, navy mantle, slender circlet. His sheltered upbringing should not be confused with an absence of courage.
